There was storm damage to Liberty Warehouse (the building in which The Scrap Exchange is housed) on Saturday, May 14. The building is closed until the situation can be fully evaluated.
The Scrap Exchange retail store will remain closed until we receive clearance that it is safe to re-open.
Aside from some water problems—which we are more or less prepared to deal with by now as we experience flooding on a regular basis—our retail store area was not directly affected by the problems, though our upstairs warehouse storage area was very near the collapsed portion of the roof.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
